The calcium content of the fruit and its relation with the potassium and nitrogen content are determinant to reduce physiopathologies, improve post-harvest conservation and handling.
It is very difficult to get the fruit to accumulate calcium, since this is a not very mobile element that stops accumulating when ripening begins.

LABIFOL MOVICAL<\/strong> provides a high mobility of this element, allowing it to accumulate in greater quantities in the fruit.

LABISINERGIC<\/strong> has a nutrient regulating effect by reducing calcium antagonism. With LABISINERGIC we can reduce nitrogen and potassium antagonism.

Trials carried out by the Technical Department of P.A. Macasa and the University of Lleida (Dr. Pere Villar) on Catherine peaches have shown that the application of Labifol Movical and Labisinergic increases the calcium content of the fruit and reduces the N+K\/Ca ratio, which is negative for quality. Both elements are determinant for adequate post-harvest conservation and resistance to transport.
The trial was carried out during the 2012 season in the municipality of Zaid\u00edn (Huesca), in plantations with netting. We worked with the Catherine variety because it is one of the varieties with the most pathophysiological problems, as well as being of high commercial interest.

The soils of the plots were deep, well drained, non-saline, calcareous and with medium to high levels of organic matter. The treatment dose was 18 L\/ha of Labifol Movical spread over 6 weeks. Labisinergic was applied at a rate of 2 L\/ha also distributed in the same way. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Increased calcium content in the fruit both in the growth phase and in the harvesting phase. The higher the calcium content, the better the quality. <\/strong> With the Labin treatment, a higher calcium content was achieved both in the fruit growth phase and at harvest time.
At harvest time, the calcium content was 28% higher than that of the testimonial.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  • The application, in fertigation, of 18L\/ha<\/strong> of LABIFOL MOVICAL + 2L\/ha of LABISINERGIC<\/strong> (in applications spread over 6 weeks) improves the nutritional parameters of the fruit at harvest time.<\/p>

    • 20% increase in fruit Ca content<\/li>
    • +28% increase in calcium content and a reduction in the N+K\/Ca ratio from 41% to 31%.<\/li><\/ul>These results result in:<\/strong>
      • Reduction of physiopathies<\/li>
